Last week I was at the Royal Ascot Golf Club to capture the Tracey’s 70’s themed birthday party! Everyone came dressed for the occasion and and even the bar staff were seen wearing a afro wig at one point. The night was accompanied by a live band called ‘Disco Nights’ and they were fantastic! They came dressed in 70’s gear as well and they looked and sounded fabulous!
I would like to thank Tracey for choosing Lunar to photograph her momentous event. All that remains to say is I’d like to wish Tracey a very ‘Happy Birthday’!!

Today was Lunar’s first wedding of 2016 and took place at the windsor guildhall. Olga and Lionel are a absolute gorgeous couple and we had some lovely moments while roaming the streets of windsor. There was no shortage of laughs as well! After the ceremony the bridal party visited the ‘The Castle Hotel’ across the road where innuendo’s were a plenty! Even a passer-by wanted to join in after what was a totally innocent comment sounded a lot like something else to everyone’s amusement. The hysterics provided some lovely photos filled with much laughter and joy and was a lovely finish to a lovely day for this fabulous couple! Here’s one of my favourite moments from the streets of windsor with the new Mr & Mrs Viet!

This week saw me head out to Dinton Pastures in Reading to photograph the engagement shoot of Charlie & Lewis. The heavy downpour of rain that the area had been getting made for a very wet, muddy and soggy day out. However this did not stop us going ahead and the photos certainly don’t show how bad some of  the muddy areas really were! We got some gorgeous shots of the two who are due to be married in March. Charlie and Lewis had their clear love for one another and this was blessed by a beautiful swan in one of my favourite photos of the shoot!

Today I took a walk in a local woods with ‘King Khalid’ as I call him to get some nice ‘one on one’ shots.

We were joined by friend Tracey, who’s featured on Lunar’s blog before and her gorgeous dog ‘Stella’ who posed for a few shots with Khalid.
I love taking photo’s in the wood with all the natural settings and autumn produces some amazing, gorgeous warm colours.
Khalid plans to use the images to send to agencies for modelling and acting purposes so I wish him all the very best of luck!

Yesterday the wonderful couple Amy and Carl celebrated their marriage at Horwood House in Milton Keynes. The weather was perfect and the day went without flaw! The day started in one of the suites at Horwood house where Amy got ready amongst friends and family. With plenty of time before the ceremony the atmosphere was relaxed and Amy was more excited than nervous. You could really see the joy in her face when she first viewed herself in the mirror fully dressed! Meanwhile Carl was very relaxed…until things started happening. Suits were donned and it wasn’t long before Carl was stood at the front of the ceremony room looking very nervous with all his friends and family sat just meters behind. I knew that Amy was just behind the door waiting to come in and how amazing she looked, but Carl had no idea what a treat he was in for! So taken by her he jumped the gun beating the registrar to the announcement of ‘You may kiss the bride’! A number of children helped complete the day, some of which were very shy to me at first but a few ‘high fives’ later some wouldn’t even leave me alone- ha! Few notable mentions that i’ve never seen at a wedding before was the introduction of a ice cream parlour, a bouncy castle (which i think was more for that adults than the kids) along with the classic sweetie cart and hog roast! There were some epic moments of emotion throughout the day which made it all that much more special!

Please raise your glasses for the new Mr & Mrs Pargeter!
