It depends on how busy I am but typically 1-3 months. If you need some images quickly in time for a special occasion let me know and I'll send you the important ones ahead of the rest.
Drop me an email letting me know the date of your event and we'll arrange a coffee date or a video chat. Once you're happy with everything you've heard, all I need is a completed contract and a deposit of £150 and the date is yours.
Yes! Let me know as soon as you can that you want one and I can book a second shooter for a small cost to cover your event.
Some of my wedding packages come with an album or you can always add one onto your package EVEN after the event! You let me know the image numbers you want and I'll put together a design for you to approve. Only once your happy with the design does it get printed.
Yes! All collections come in both colour and black and white. Some photos do look better in Black & White as opposed to Colour. I want to give you both options.
The pixelstick is a light bar similar to one column of pixels on your TV. In effect it is a printer that use's light instead of ink to creative a unique and stunning floating image in your photo. This looks great in front of water as well! You can be as creative as you like....almost!
For most weddings it's not compulsory to feed me although a hot meal is always appreciated. I can bring my own with the exception of certain types/locations of weddings. We will discuss this at your consultation.
If you feel more comfortable with this then we should be able to arrange a walk-around although this is not necessary for most venues. As part of being a good photographer I'm trained to spot good locations and angles on the fly. When I photographed weddings in Lapland, Crete and Washington D.C for example I did not have the luxury of visiting the location before the wedding took place.
Engagement shoots serve a few purposes. It allows me to get to know your likes and dislikes and for you to get used to how I work with you. (More so important if you feel uncomfortable being photographed). It also provides you with images that can be used for 'save the dates cards, invitations, wedding decorations, order of services' and for just general images of the happy couple not all dressed up in wedding attire for your home.
All my packages include photographic coverage to 1 hour after the first dance (with some exceptions). The variation comes in when I start and this is determined by the package you choose. If bridal prep is included in your package we will discuss a suitable start time. This is about 3 hours before your ceremony depending on circumstances.
Only if they are getting ready at the same location. The best thing to do if you want both covered is to request a second shooter from me.
If I know in advanced that I won't be able to attend for some reason I will let you know that will be sending another trusted photographer in my place. I will then do the editing of those images so that they have a similar finish to those that you have seen in my portfolio. Alternatively you have the right to a full refund.
Great! A knot is harder to undo when wet! I always bring a white umbrella with me big enough for a couple to stand under and I don't mind getting wet. Photo's in the rain bring a new level of romance to the image which I love. It also makes you stand a lot closer together under the umbrella which communicates an increase of intimacy in the image.
For family and engagement shoots it's around 60 depending on how the shoot goes. For weddings there is no max cap on the number of images you receive. If it meets the criteria you get it! typically clients get around 500 images from a wedding all edited to my high standard.
