Oh! Hello, THere!
WELCOME TO,

The Blog

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine.

‘East Horton Golf Club Wedding’ – Olivia & Alex

Yesterday I travelled down to Blendworth to photograph the marriage of Olivia and Alex, and what a day it was with a number of ‘firsts’ for me (drone’s and golf buggy action shots to name a few)!
After a lovely church service we headed outside for some group photos. Despite the spitting of rain all day we managed to get around it and get plenty of outdoor shots done.
From there we moved onto East Horton Golf Course for the reception. The wedding coordinator ‘Vicky’ did an amazing job and clearly put a lot of effort into getting the venue all dressed and ready with the number of props that had been made by many of the guests!
After the arrival of the bride and groom the club organised a small fleet of 3 golf buggies for us to take out for some amazing action shots! We also had a drone provided by Keil from ‘Sky’s your limit‘ following the action along. I can’t wait to see what this amazing drone captured with it’s 4k camera and superb stability even in the high winds! We took in some of the golf courses beautiful scenery including a couple of lakes, a wooden lodge and a forrest. Keil even bravely flew the drone within a open canopy in the woods. We headed back to the club house just as the rain started again to enjoy the now transformed main room upstairs. As the sun set the fairy lights amongst the wooden rafters and many props really began to shine and give the room that magical essence.

All that remained was for Alex & Olivia to cut the ‘Disney’ themed wedding cake and show off their dancing skills for the first dance!

Special thanks to ‘Vicky’ the wedding coordinator for East Horton Golf course (nothing is too much for this girl) and to Keil for providing to Ariel drone coverage at the course.

Please stand for the new Mr & Mrs Mckenna!
