Last Saturday I travelled to Worton Hall in Oxford to photograph Donna & Liam tying the knot!
Upon my arrival at Worton Hall I was staggered by the beautiful scenery they have on site. Having a quick nose in the main hall I was blown away with how massive and amazing it was. With a higher tier balcony I realised how great this room would be from a photographers perspective later for the speeches and first dance!
Worton hall is also a dog friendly venue and we were join by a few dogs -trigger who I became very friendly with and I loved what Donna & Liam had done with the little tie on his collar!
Once the bridal prep had been completed we travelled a short journey to Tackley church for the main ceremony. Tackley church has a tradition which they still uphold where by as the newly weds head up the isle to leave the church rose petals fall from the ceiling! Its a wonderful addition to the ceremony which I’ve never seen before!
We then headed back to Worton Hall for group photos and and some one on one time one the fields near free roaming horses. I cannot tell you how beautiful the buildings and cottages around Worton Hall are! So many great photo locations we didn’t have time to make use of them all!
We finished up the night with some smokey romantic photos out in the gazebo down at the bottom of one of the gardens.
On this particular wedding I was joined by assistant photographer Tracey from tmsphotography. Tracey is a very talented photographer who travelled all the way down to Oxford from Derbyshire! I’d like to extend a special thanks to her for all her help throughout the day and especially with the group photos!
